“To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”

Ecclesiastes 3:1, King James Version

By reading your invitation, you know how much we’d love for you to make Talk & Tranquility a daily ritual in your life. You’ll meet a different woman from the Bible every single week through the daily devotional themes outlined below.

DAY 1: This Week's Menu
Every Sunday, we’ll reveal the guest of honor for the week – a woman from the Bible who you can expect to get to know better all week long. We’ll take this day to prepare for her visit by learning all we can about the place and time in which our featured woman lived. For the more we know of her historical background, the better we can understand the story she has to tell – from her role at home and status in the community … to the prevalence of drought, famine and disease … to the political circumstances that shaped her world.”

DAYS 2 & 3: A Time to Get Acquainted
Once our guest of honor arrives, we’ll spend Monday and Tuesday listening to her story. From beginning to end we’ll study every detail we can find of her life in the Bible, including identifying the reason God shares her particular story with us today. We’ll look for the purpose of her life, which will illustrate how her faith, or lack of it, played a role in the daily challenges she faced.

DAYS 4 & 5:  A Time to Feast
She may have lived more than 2,000 years ago, but as you’ll discover each week during our study, the Biblical woman you will meet is much like contemporary women today. She has hopes and fears for her loved ones, and she has dreams and insecurities of her own. Many of these women will feel familiar, as our needs throughout history rarely change.

We’ll spend Wednesday and Thursday learning the lessons God has in store for each of us, as we feast on His table of abundance and love that will nourish and enrich the places in our lives where we are hungry and thirsty for Heavenly refreshment.

DAY 6:  A Time to Share
With our guest of honor’s story as inspiration, we’ll spend Friday sharing stories of our own with questions, quotes and texts from Scripture that encourage the process. If you have family or friends close by who also come to Transformation Garden, it’s the perfect day for you to host a time for Talk & Tranquility at your own home. Take turns sharing with one another the needs in your own life that mirror those of the Biblical woman you met this week. Or journal your story individually, knowing that women all around the world are doing the same.
DAY 7:  A Time for
Tranquility
All week long you’ve listened and studied. Now it’s time to sit back and let what you’ve learned soak in – the lessons from the life of a woman in Biblical times whose hopes and fears belong to us all. Her story is now yours to keep in your heart as a constant reminder of the peaceful reassurance that comes with seeking and sharing a woman’s walk with God.
